“Look out for a new class of Super Deans to emerge from #ACBSPDeans Symposium,”
tweeted Dawn Kaiser, Professor at American Intercontinental University.
The idea behind the symposium was to allow business program administrators to sharpen their skill set and stay relevant. The theme of the event exemplifies Going Beyond Accreditation, an idea that came from Jeffrey Alderman, ACBSP President/CEO.
“There have only been a few events in my life that have truly inspired me to reach the highest levels of growth in my professional career,” said Dr. Alla Wilson, Dean, School of Global Business at Arcadia University. “As the Dean of the School of Global Business at Arcadia University, I’ve had the opportunity to attend professional Dean’s conferences all over the world. The ACBSP Inaugural Dean’s Symposium was a highlight of my participation with business accrediting organizations. This program was a call for the participants to grow and develop leadership skills, while gathering best practices to provide our business schools with real solutions and opportunities we can implement upon returning to our schools.
If you missed the inaugural symposium, no worries. Join us in Chicago, IL from September 8 – 10, 2017!
