Paul Stumb

Dr. Paul Calvert Stumb, IV, a native of Nashville, Tenn., was named President of Cumberland University on August 26, 2015. He has served Cumberland University since 2003, when he became an Adjunct Professor, a capacity in which he served for two years before becoming Dean of the Labry School of Science, Technology and Business. During his tenure as President, Cumberland has seen record enrollment growth and developed a Strategic Plan that respects the University’s rich, 178-year history, while positioning it for academic distinction and excellence in the current landscape of higher education. He is a graduate of the Navy War College Strategy and Policy Course and retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves with the rank of Commander. He is the recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal, the National Defense Medal, and other awards, commendations, and honors. Prior to joining Cumberland University, Dr. Stumb enjoyed a successful career in the business sector. Dr. Stumb is a current member of the ACBSP Board of Directors and has been a site visit chair, mentor, and President of ACBSP’s Region 3. He is married to Dr. Cristy Stumb, a CU alum and former faculty member, who now owns and operates Stumb Healthcare Professionals, a primary care clinic in Carthage, Tenn. Together they have four grown children and five grandchildren. Dr. Stumb earned his Ph.D. in Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Matthew Andrews

Matthew Andrews is an expert in continuous improvement and entrepreneurial organizational development with over 20 years of experience in executive training and higher education. He holds a Ph.D. in international management and has published research on organizational learning, team dynamics, and knowledge management in technology companies, and in the healthcare sector. Before his current position as Director of Academic Affairs at the International SchooI of Management (ISM), Paris, France, Matthew Andrews was the Dean of the Bachelor and Master of Business Administration programs at the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG).

Lakshmy Sivaratnam

Lakshmy Sivaratnam is a full-time faculty member at Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) and the program coordinator for the A.A.S. in Accounting and A.S. in Business, bringing with her industry experience in Accounting, Information Systems, and Operations Management. Lakshmy earned her B.S. in Management/Finance from Park University; M.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City; and completed 72 doctoral hours with the University of Kansas. Lakshmy has been active with ACBSP for at least 13 years, having served in the capacity of an Internal Audit Committee member, Region 5 Treasurer for 4 years, Region 5 chair, and the ACBSP Board of Directors. She was the recipient of the: 2017 Henry Louis Excellence in Teaching Award (KCKCC); 2014 You are a Shining Star Award (KCKCC Enrollment Management Division); and 2010 NISOD Excellence Award (National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development). She was also the 2009 TAASU Award of Excellence nominee (KCKCC The African American Student Union).

Kristina Collins

Dr. Kristina Collins serves as Vice Provost of Academic Excellence, Distinctiveness, and Effectiveness at Tiffin University. In this role she oversees the Center Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL), the Pfeiffer Library, and Outcomes Assessment. Dr. Collins is also an Associate Professor in the School of Business, teaching Supply Chain Management and Human Resource Management. Dr. Collins holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and is also a Six Sigma Green Belt, DISC certified facilitator, and Compression Planning certified facilitator.

David Dyson

Dr. David Dyson has served ACBSP in various capacities including President of Region 6, Editor of Managing Articulation Issues, and as a member and chair of the Articulation Committee. He was a co-presenter of the Best in Regions Paper for Region 6 in 2014. In 2018, Dyson was selected as the Region 6 and the ACBSP International Teaching Excellence recipient. Dr. Dyson’s name is included in several of the Who’s Who publications including America, Finance and Industry and American Education. He has served in Staff, Faculty and Administrative positions at Oral Roberts University. In 2019, he was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement designation by Who’s Who. He has spoken professionally in many countries on four continents and has published in journals in USA and Asia and has served on Nonprofit Boards.

Melanie Hicks

Melanie Hicks worked in both private and public accounting prior to transitioning into academia. She currently serves as the department chair for accounting, economics, finance, and financial planning, affectionately known as the “Financial District” at Liberty University. She also serves as the Accreditation Director and Co-Champion, along with her husband, for ACBSP. Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Jeffrey Lineman

Dr. Jeffrey Lineman is a Professor of Management in the School of Business. He received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in organization and management with an emphasis in information technology from Capella University, a Master of Science degree in management from Baker University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. His teaching and research interests include management, MIS, computer applications, leadership development, and assessment.

Laurie Boeding

Laurie Boeding has worked in higher education for over 20 years. She currently serves as the Dean for Business Technology at Trident Technical College (TTC). She began her career with TTC in 2002 as an instructor of information technology and later served in the roles of department head and associate dean prior to accepting the position of dean in 2016. Prior to her employment with TTC, she worked as a project manager and information technology professional for several Department of Defense contracting organizations. Dr. Boeding holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University as well a Masters in Information Systems and a BS in Business Administration. Her involvement with ACBSP includes: Commissioner on the Associate Degree Board of Commissioners, ACBSP Champion for TTC, and ACBSP Evaluator.

Clarissa Cota

Clarissa M. Cota has worked in higher education over 20 years. She recently served as the Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs for the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) for 2018. She holds B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Arizona and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the American and Clark County Bar Associations, the Latino Bar Association for Southern Nevada, the American Association of University Professors, the Nevada Faculty Alliance, and ACBSP. Under her leadership as Interim Dean for the School of Business, Hospitality and Public Service and Department Chair, the Business Incubator Program developed which currently has 43 student-run businesses, designed the Interactive Business Lab. Ms. Cota’s involvement with ACBSP includes: Associate Degree Board of Commissioners (2018-21), Region 7 Past-President, Accreditation Site Evaluator, Region 7 Conference Host in Las Vegas and Phoenix, service on the Teaching Excellence Committee, Region 7 Strategic Planning Committee, Region 7 representative to the Global Risk Management Committee, and Institutional ACBSP Champion. She has served as chair of the Hispanic Serving Institution Task Force for CSN and Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) and as the American Council on Education (ACE) Office of Women in Higher Education, Southern Nevada Coordinator. She has been awarded the President’s Outstanding Teaching Faculty Award for the College of Southern Nevada, the El Dorado Award for Outstanding Latino Faculty Member, the Woman of Excellence Award, the Excellence in Service to CSN Award and was part of the inaugural class for the CSN Executive Leadership Institute program.

Cara Beth Johnson

 Cara Beth Johnson, CPA is the Chair for the Business Division at Northern Oklahoma College and teaches accounting principles courses. She serves on multiple institutional committees at Northern and is a faculty sponsor for the Kappa Beta Delta Honor Society. Cara Beth received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1999 and MBA from Cameron University in 2001. Prior to joining the faculty at Northern, she specialized in municipal/governmental accounting. Cara Beth has a passion for education and is active in many organizations that support educational endeavors. She currently serves as the President of the Tonkawa Public Schools Board of Education and on the Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce Education Committee. Cara Beth has been actively involved with ACBSP since 2002 and has served as the Champion for Northern Oklahoma College since 2006. She has supported ACBSP as the Chair for the Southwestern Council (Region 6), as a member of the Articulation Committee and of both the Region 6 and International Teaching Excellence Award selection committees. Currently she serves on the Audit Committee and as an accreditation site evaluator since 2012. In 2007, Cara Beth was honored as the recipient of the Region 6 Teaching Excellence Award and was further recognized with the International Teaching Excellence Award that year. Cara Beth is also a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s (OSCPA), the North Central Chapter of OSCPA’s and Chair of the Immanuel Baptist Church Stewardship Committee.  Cara Beth has been married to her husband Jason for 21 years and they have two beautiful children, Jaci, age 16 and Cason, age 12.

Jane Mattes

Jane Mattes is the Interim Assistant Dean in the School of Business, Education, Justice, and Law at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). In this role she serves as the institution’s Accreditation Liaison Officer for Middle States and has co-chaired the 2012 Middle States Self-Study and 2017 Periodic Review Report processes. She is currently co-chairing the 2022 Middle States Self-Study process. Jane was formerly the Assistant Dean, Instruction Policy at CCBC and also served as the Department Chair for Accounting, Economics, and Social Sciences. As a former Chair for Region 2, Jane has completed ACBSP Mentor and Evaluator Training, has served as an evaluator on site visits for ACBSP reaffirmation of accreditation, and is currently a member of the Associate Degree Board of Commissioners. Jane also represents Region 2 on the ACBSP Marketing Committee, and she will serve for a second time as Secretary for Region 2 during the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

Don Carlson

Don Carlson is a native of Omaha, Nebraska and currently lives in San Francisco, California. Don received his BS in History and Master in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He has 27 years of experience working in community and technical colleges including 22 years’ experience serving in academic administration positions in Minnesota, Nebraska, West Virginia, and California. Currently, Don is serving as the Dean for Computing, Applied Technology and Social Sciences at Las Positas College in Livermore, California and he is an adjunct, online instructor in the business program for  Metropolitan Community College, Omaha, Nebraska.

Samuel Dunn

Samuel L. Dunn is a businessperson who has spent most of his career in the education industry, which is the second largest civilian industry in the United States after healthcare. Dunn served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Seattle Pacific University, then was for 11 years Vice President for Academic Affairs at Northwest Nazarene University. He is currently Professor of Business and Senior Fellow in the School of Business at Northwest Nazarene and Adjunct Professor in Anderson University’s doctoral program in business. Dunn holds the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics and the Doctor of Business Administration degree in International Business. Dunn regularly teaches graduate courses in strategy and global business practices. Dunn is active in accreditation work for ACBSP; he serves on the ACBSP Accreditation Governance Board. He is a futurist and author of several futurist publications. His two recent books are:  Be A Top Leader and Be a Top Global Leader.

Brad Kleindl

Dr. Brad Kleindl is Dean of the College of Management at Park University. Dr. Kleindl is Chair of the  ACBSP Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners. He has authored or co-authored seven books and has over 60 other publications as well as receiving two Fulbright Specialist Program awards. Over his career as a dean at two universities, he has negotiated international relationships with over fourteen global programs in a dozen countries.
