We are excited to share some updates about ACBSP Conference 2021.
Our Conference Planning Committee, led by Board Chair Dr. Bruce Stetar, recently completed a site visit to the InterContinental Miami to finalize plans for ACBSP Conference 2021, scheduled for June 25-28.
After a careful review of safety measures taken by the staff at the Intercontinental Miami, your Board of Directors has decided to move forward with a hybrid event, hosting those of you who are comfortable traveling to Miami at a scaled-back, in-person conference, while also offering a dynamic virtual component for those of you who have health and safety concerns, or are under travel or financial restrictions.
ACBSP Conference 2021 will be our first in-person event of 2021.
“As we continue to navigate the uncertainties of our world in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, our primary concern is for the safety of our members. While we had hoped to all be in-person this summer in Miami, we realize that many of you might be reluctant or unable to travel,” said Dr. Stetar. “Offering a hybrid event allows our entire global membership to participate in our most popular event.”
Registration opens March 1!
Important Updates
• Call for Presentations
Peer-reviewed presentation slots are available for both virtual and in-person attendees, but the deadline is quickly approaching. Respond to the Call for Presentations by Monday, February 15 with proposals focused on the conference theme, Developing Business Leaders for a Better Tomorrow. Reviewers are also accepting proposals on relevant subjects outside the conference theme. • Chair’s Award
The Board of Directors is seeking your nominations for the ACBSP Chair’s Award, which recognizes exceptional service to ACBSP during the past year. Eligible nominees must be from an ACBSP member school and have served ACBSP in some capacity for a minimum of three years. This award is for meritorious service above and beyond the normal call of duty, and comes with a $250 cash honorarium. Submit nominations to membership@acbsp.org.

Thank you in advance for your understanding as we plan ACBSP Conference 2021. Last year’s virtual conference set a new attendance record, with more than 1,800 registered attendees. We are incredibly excited to offer a hybrid event that brings the best of both worlds together and reflects all of the things you’ve come to love about the annual ACBSP Conference.
